• It is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of many different infections caused by bacteria such as
• Acute bacterial sinusitis & tonsillitis
• Acute otitis media
• Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis
• Community acquired pneumonia
• Cystitis,urethritis, pyelonephritis
• Skin and soft tissue infections in particular cellulitis, animal bites, severe dental abscess with spreading cellulitis
• Bone and joint infections, in particular osteomyelitis.

Dosage

• As directed by the physician.
