Action & Indications

• Febuxostat decreases uric acid levels.
• It is used to treat hyperuricemia(constantly high levels of uric acid) in adults who have gout. It helps decrease your symptoms of gout.
• It’s used for people who are unable to take allopurinol, or who have tried allopurinol and it was not effective enough for them.
