Actions & Indications

• Carbocisteine normalizes the viscosity (thickness) of secretions in the airways and facilitates the expectoration of phlegm as well as ease up breathing and thus relieve tight cough.
• It is used for the relief of all types of cough chronic bronchitis, asthma, bronchiectasis and emphysema. Also indicated for cough-induced sinusitis and otitis media.

Dosage

• Adults and Children >12 years: 10 mL every 6 hrs.
