• Trimetazidine is an anti-ischemic (anti-anginal) metabolic agent,
• Trimetazidine is used for long term treatment of angina. Angina is chest pain arising from the heart muscle when it does not receive enough oxygen. You may have the feeling of indigestion, fullness, pressure or tightness in the chest.
