Phlebotomist

The role holder is responsible for collecting blood samples for medical testing, assisting with health screenings, and performing front-desk administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, record keeping, and patient coordination.

Responsibilities


Phlebotomy & Clinical Support
  • Perform venipuncture and blood collection following proper protocols
  • Label, document, and prepare specimens for lab processing or external testing.
  • Assist with wellness programs and health screening events within the workplace.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
Administrative Duties
  • Manage clinic appointments, check-ins, and patient flow.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
  • Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and internal communications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in daily administrative tasks such as inventory tracking, filing, and reporting.

Must Have

  • ▪ Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) or Master of Nursing Science (MNSc)
  • ▪ Valid nursing license/registration
  • ▪ Certification in Phlebotomy from a recognized training institute.
  • ▪ Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting (phlebotomy + reception preferred)
  • ▪ Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, EMR systems, etc.)
  • ▪ Strong communication, and multitasking skills.
  • ▪ High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
