Fusidic Acid and its salts exert antibacterial activity against most Gram positive organisms; in particular, it is effective against pathogenic Staphylococci, including the penicillinase-producing strains. It is used in Skin lesions primarily or secondarily infected with Staphylococcus or Streptococcus.
